In Safe Hands: Massage Therapy for Survivors of Domestic Violence
Description
In Safe Hands Massage Therapy for Survivors of Domestic Violence This session is intentionally created to support survivors in a safe, trauma-informed environment. With a focus on gentle techniques and mindful communication, the session helps ease physical pain and tension while reintroducing the body to safe, nurturing touch. Consent, boundaries, and comfort are honored at every step. From asking simple questions such as “Are you ok with the lights off?” or “Are you ok with touch around your neck, wrists, or ankles?” to respecting requests like leaving the door open — every detail is approached with compassion and care. In Safe Hands is not a replacement for counseling or mental health services, but it can be a powerful complement to the healing journey — helping survivors reconnect with their bodies, restore peace, and feel supported.
